We’re proud to be one of the country’s leading Christmas festivals. Returning for our eighth year from 3rd to 6th December 2016, more than 100 crafts folk and producers, 40 star chefs, and 45,000 visitors will celebrate what our town does best: food and drink.We like to showcase Padstow at its finest and this year is no exception. We’re hosting four jam-packed days of family entertainment, which you can discover more about here. From our spectacular fireworks display and Santa fun run, to chef demonstrations and Christmas workshops, there will be plenty to stir up your festive spirit.From Thursday to Sunday, visitors can see big culinary names from the small screen in a host of cookery demonstrations, compèred by presenters from BBC Radio Cornwall. From beautiful pasta to fragrant curry dishes, it’s the perfect opportunity to gather traditional and contemporary inspiration for your own Christmas feasts.If you’re looking for special gifts with an artisan twist, our Christmas market has more than 100 stalls to browse. From jewellery and jams to original artworks and homeware, we’re here to make sure your shopping is trouble-free.We want to make sure your weekend is full of fun. Celebrations on Friday 4 December will begin with our winter lantern parade, before Father Christmas makes a pit stop in the streets of Padstow on a horse drawn Victorian bus. Live music and carolling will add an extra touch of magic to proceedings, and our famous fireworks will launch into the skies over the harbour to round off the evening.
